Here’s your opportunity to learn the historical significance of the Church, how it’s developed over time and the critical events that have shaped faith – past and present. Regent’s Master of Theological Studies – Church History provides you a graduate-level understanding of theological disciplines for further graduate study, general educational purposes or teaching in a ministerial context. This track prepares you for theological research, writing and training by offering a general foundation of the Bible, history and theology.

  • Analyze the historical developments of the Church with an emphasis on the Renewal and Reformation movements.
  • Integrate effective ministry approaches from the time of the apostles through the modern Church for maximum impact.
  • Apply historical biblical lessons to current situations to help guide you and others from repeating mistakes and compromising God’s Word.

Taught from a Christian Renewal perspective, coursework is offered online and partially on campus in Virginia Beach.
