The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Mathematics Education, offered on campus, could be your first step to a fulfilling career teaching math to middle school or high school students. You can become licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia to teach math in grades 7-12. Through coursework for your bachelor’s degree in math education, you will strengthen your skills in math theory and practical application.
