The Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL), offered online with minimal on-campus residency, is a terminal professional degree that will help you meet today’s organizational challenges so that you’re prepared to renew and transform systems and teams. The DSL emphasizes leadership, communication, structure, team building and cultural understanding from a Christian perspective. You will be grounded in theory and practical components essential to organizational success. Through the concentration in Leadership Coaching, you will prepare for executive-level coaching roles and for certifications through any of the recognized certifying agencies so that you can build a consulting practice.

  • Learn to complete assessments of an organization’s readiness to begin an internal coaching initiative incorporating a strategic plan for a long-term organizational leadership program.
  • Develop a training seminar for managers on incorporating a coaching style of management for improved work performance in soft-skill development.
  • Perform a 360-degree feedback assessment on a leader including a full debrief session and long-term coaching relationship based on the findings.
  • Create, market and launch a coaching business.
