The Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Federal Government is offered on campus and online through the Robertson School of Government to students wanting to pursue careers in federal service or nonprofit organizations. You will enjoy specialized coursework in leadership, constitutional law, international relations and politics. Through case studies, service-learning opportunities and best-practice public administration analysis, you will increase your knowledge of service and develop a greater understanding of culture, climate and competency areas associated with career success in the federal sector.
- Develop a foundational understanding of American politics, the presidency, Congress, voting and the judiciary.
- Examine the history of the Constitution; the structure, power and limitations of the three branches of the federal government; the power and rights of the states; and the authority of local governments.
- Explore U.S. foreign policy; America’s role in the world today; and international and multinational social, political, and economic problems and how to address them from a Christ-centered perspective.
