Two-Year Accelerated Juris Doctor (JD) Program

On-Campus Degree

The Two-Year Accelerated Juris Doctor (JD), offered on campus, is designed to help you enter the competitive job market sooner. This American Bar Association-approved degree is identical to the three-year program, but with students attending in the summer sessions as well, allowing an earlier graduation. Through the accelerated law program, you will be equipped with a basic knowledge of the law in key areas, including torts, contracts, property, civil procedure, criminal law, constitutional law, business associations and evidence. Training will focus on legal analysis, writing and problem solving. Regent Law students are uniquely equipped to practice law ethically and professionally, with honesty, integrity and Christian values.

  • Compete on award-winning Moot Court, Negotiation and Trial Advocacy teams.
  • Gain an appreciation of the biblical foundations of the law and legal institutions of the United States.
  • Enjoy externship and practical opportunities including internships with the Center for Global Justice.
  • Develop practical lawyering skills through clinical practice, including a civil litigation clinic, a robust legal research and writing curriculum and a partnership with the American Center for Law and Justice.

Career Opportunities:

After passing the bar examination, Juris Doctor program graduates are eligible for positions involving administrative law/regulated industries, constitution and public law, corporate and commercial law, family law, health law, intellectual property, international law, legal theory and history, legal history, litigation, property/real estate, taxation, wills, and trusts.
