M.Ed. — Curriculum and Instruction major with a concentration in Gifted & Talented (with endorsement)
The Master of Education – Curriculum & Instruction major is an online program that will prepare you to develop and deliver effective instructional opportunities in diverse learning environments, including public, private, higher education and the workplace. Regent’s Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) approved Gifted & Talented concentration (with endorsement) offers a deeper understanding to teachers and administrators so that you can address the unique needs of gifted students. The program, taught from a Christian perspective, requires the add-on Gifted Education Endorsement for those holding a Virginia teaching license.* A required 45-hour practicum takes place during the second spring semester of the program. Consult with your school administrator regarding the practicum requirement and its fulfillment as a contracted school employee. *This VDOE-approved program is required for currently licensed Virginia teachers.
